Efficiency

Ventilation is a prime aspect of efficiency and several approaches can help improve the ventilation of a building. (Also see our air flow section for more detailed information.) The placement of air inlets and exhausts, the use of room fans, the prevention of inflow/outflow of contaminants, the alteration or removal of partitions blocking fresh-air flow, and the opening of outdoor air-supply dampers and room air-vents can all prove to be beneficial in maintaining a healthy and comfortable level of CO₂ in indoor air.
